Mixed reactions trailed the Federal
Government’s plan to build a helipad in Daura, Katsina State, to ensure a
direct flight for President Muhammadu Buhari whenever he visits his country
home.
Social media commentators were
divided over the necessity of the project and its impact on Nigeria’s economy.
While some supported the president, saying the project is inexpensive, others
believe it is unnecessary in view of the government’s change mantra,
particularly in reducing cost of governance.
