Leader of Odua People’s Congress, Gani Adams has
warned President Muhammadu Buhari to be careful of his loyalists in the All
Progressives Congress.
Adams also implored the President to be wary of
bad advisers as they could influence his government negatively.
Gani Adams
advised Buhari that allowing bad advisers to infiltrate his administration
will destroy the trust Nigerians placed in him through his election as
President.
Adams said: “The former President Jonathan was
surrounded by bad advisers who made him lose credibility. Buhari must not appoint
ministers that he wouldn’t be able to control. The people in his cabinet
should be accountable.”
Speaking further, he highlighted the areas Buhari
should focus his attention on as; unstable policy, epileptic power outage,
corruption, improper planning, high cost of governance.
