Whitney Houston daughter condition deteriorates, taken off life supporting medications

22-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston has 'continued to deteriorate,' her family confirms. Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken off life-supporting medications
and admitted to a hospice facility, at the will of her family.

“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, her condition has continued to deteriorate,” her aunt Pat Houston said in a statement on behalf of the family on Wednesday. “As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. 

We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now. ”The 22-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown has been unresponsive in the hospital since January 31, when she was found sub merged in a bath tub in her Georgia home.

Bobbi Kristina was reportedly discovered face down in a tub full of water by her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend. Gordon claimed to have performed CPR until paramedics were able to transfer her to Georgia’s North Fulton Hospital. 

Doctors temporarily placed her in a medically induced coma, before deciding on the best course of action, but she has been unresponsive ever since.

Family members held a candle light vigil for Bobbi Kristina in Atlanta after she was hospitalized, but didn’t immediately reveal many details about her condition.

The news was especially chilling since her mother, Whitney Houston, was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room bath tub less than three years earlier, in February 2012. An autopsy would later reveal traces of several drugs in Houston’s system. 

Police search of Bobbi Kristina’s house reportedly turned up no drugs. In April, Brown’s grandmother, Cissy Houston, revealed just how bad the situation was. “I have just returned from visiting my grand daughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital, and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma, she has a tracheotomy, and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive,” Houston said in a statement to People.

The following month, during an emotional interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” she confirmed that Bobbi Kristina was “the same, she’s not progressing at all. “She’s not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I’m ready for her,” Houston said. “I have nothing to do with that. That’s His job. It’s His territory, you know? And I understand it. 

”When news of her condition first became public, celebrities from LaToya Jackson to Missy Elliott sent prayers to Bobbi Kristina and her family. It has been difficult for the public to watch the Houston family struggle with yet another painful loss.
